Lesson 3 Why Does God Allow Suffering? – Answers 

1. Who is God?

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

2. What is the nature of God’s love?

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.

3. What is the condition of our world?

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

4. Is God responsible for pain and evil?

‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’

5. How is Satan working in the world today?

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

18. How can a person be sure they will live in the New Earth without Satan and sin?

For by grace you have been saved} through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
