The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
2. Does the Bible teach that the Holy Spirit is a Person?
Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? . . . You have not lied to men but to God.”
When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
3. What promise did Jesus make concerning the Holy Spirit?
I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever . . . I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
4. How does the Holy Spirit help us to experience the presence of Jesus?
The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
He who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
5. What is the role of the Holy Spirit?
When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
When He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
When the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
8. What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit?
To one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
9. Who decides which spiritual gifts a person is to receive?
One and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
10. How do we receive the Holy Spirit?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
11. What is the unpardonable sin?
Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
