Lesson 17 The Messiah and the Judgment – Answers

1. How many people will face the judgment?

We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

2.Will the judgment take place prior to the Second Coming of Jesus?

Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

For two thousand three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.

Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.

It was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens [the earthly sanctuary] should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves [the heavenly sanctuary] with better sacrifices than these.

19. What impact should the judgment have on a person’s life?

Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.
